Group classes are currently held in New Denver, BC
We have dogs because they like to be with us and with our friends. We we approach or another person approaches it is normal for a dog to want to jump up to say ‘hi’. Unfortunately, once the ‘puppy license’ has expired, most people do not enjoy having a dog jumping up on them as a way of greeting.
It is our responsibility to teach our puppies and our dogs how to greet people politely; a polite greeting is some form of four feet on the floor. The following references will help you understand why and how to teach your dog ‘four on the floor’ when greeting people.
